New £150 million leisure, residential and retail project for Worthing

The TevilleGateway project has planning permission for a comprehensive mixed use development to include a new swimming pool which was unanimously approved by Worthing Borough Council (WBC). Following the decision of WBC to relocate its new swimming pool close to the existing Aquarena site, Hanson Capital Management (HCM) has been working with its professional team on revised plans for TevilleGateway to include some additional uses to replace the swimming pool. HCM expects to be in a position to finalise these plans shortly.

Savills (L&P), Intrinsic and Michael Jones & Co. have been appointed as sales and letting agents for the project and discussions are well advanced with prospective commercial tenants for the extensive leisure and retail facilities. Enquiries have also been received for the stunning new residential apartments.

TevilleGateway will have leisure, retail and residential uses and is likely to include:

  • A multiplex cinema
  • A 24-lane 10-pin bowling centre
  • Shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and event areas
  • Over 250 new homes
  • New landscaped public spaces with outdoor cafes,
  • Seating and a partially covered pedestrian arcade
  • Public and private roof terraces and gardens
